Easter is almost here! It’s my favorite time of the year for so many reasons. For example, what other time of the year is it normal to paint hardboiled eggs any color of your choosing? Of course being the southern girl I am, I follow the rule of not wearing white until after Easter…a new color for your wardrobe! I could go on all day, but right now I want to focus on decorating for Easter.
I came across some new and interesting ways of using eggs in your Easter floral decorations. It’s easy to stick some eggs in a basket and call it a day, but you can actually get a really elegant and sophisticated look that is perfect for a special holiday dinner or celebration. Whether it’s a new color palette or an out of the box technique, I think you’ll find some inspiration in these images. My favorite is the first image on the left…look closely, the arrangement is built on spoons! So clever.
I’d love to get a glimpse of your creativity at work. Feel free to email me images of your Easter designs to share. Include a brief description of your design inspiration, we’d all love to hear!
While you are perusing these beautiful designs, I’ll leave you with one last reason that I love this time of year : Cadbury Creme Eggs!!!
